Etruscan, 6th century BC
Bucchero pesante.
H 32.8 cm
On the corpus a lion on each side of the handle with open mouth and a raised front paw. Between them a grazing deer with powerful antlers. The fields separated by four vertical ribs tapering downwards. Recomposed from large fragments with small areas of modern infill.
