Roman, 2nd – 3rd Century AD
Greenish translucent glass with beautiful iridescence in places; heavily sintered on one side.
H 13 cm

Free-blown jug with an almost spherical body, concave base, cylindrical neck, funnel-shaped mouth with rim folded-in and a handle from the rim to the shoulder. On the neck a surrounding thread. Thread partly missing, otherwise intact. With label: Ex.:
