Votive figure

Cypro-Archaic II, 600 – 550 BC
Terracotta with traces of white slip and red colour.
H 22.8 cm

Female statuette of a worshipper with large nose and pointed chin. The right arm raised in a devotional gesture. In the left hand a dish with offerings. Adorned with a short necklace with pendant around neck and a long necklace extending to the navel. On the hair a turban-like headdress. Fingers of right hand missing.
