Small statuette of Heracles. The bearded demigod Heracles wears a lion's skin with a lion's head over head and back, its forepaws knotted on his chest. Preserved are the upper body with arm attachments and head.
Provenance
German private collection J. R. (1941-2021), acquired between 1960 and 1990 on the European art market – mainly in the 1970s and 1980s at auction sales in London.
