Counter–Mould

Ptolemaic

Limestone. A counter-mould for making inlays. One side with two heads in profile and two female upper bodies with bent arm and hand held up, an area carved for the wig. The other side with four square recesses, a raised dome in each. Recomposed from two fragments.
