Embracing monkey flask

Etrusco-Corinthian, early 6th century B.C.

Clay. Right arm of the ape on the left and left arm of the ape on the right missing, base a little bit worn. Alabastron in form of a pair of apes, squatting side by side. They bodies are decorated with rows of dots, they heads with dark colour. They wear collars and each extends an arm toward the other.
