Grape flask

Roman, 2nd – 3rd century AD

Purple translucent glass, beautiful iridescence.

Mould-blown flask in the form of a stylized bunch of grapes with cut-out base. On the shoulder two opposing grape leaves. Cylindrical neck constricted at the base with flaring rim folded in. Intact.
