Gnome with large phallus

Roman, from Egypt, 1st - 2nd century A.D.

Reddish brown terracotta. Hollow; two-piece mould. Figure with a grotesque grimace. His phallus is very large. He wears a wreath on his head, with lotus buds tied on top, the ends of the ribbon falling on his right shoulder. A amphora and a tamburin next to him.
