Jug

Roman, 3rd – 4th Century AD

Yellowish translucent and blue glass with beautiful iridescence.

H 8.8 cm

Free-blown jug with spherical body, convex base, short neck and bulbous rim. On the outer wall two overlapping blue zigzag threads. Unbroken, small cracks at the rim and one in the corpus.
