Handle of a jug
Greek, 6th Century BC
Bronze.
H 15.2 cm
The handle of a jug has matching terminals depicting stylised pine cones on the rim, and an inverted palmette ornamented with two antithetic spirals where it joins the body. The handle was attached to rim and body with rivets. Intact.
