Hellenistic, 3rd - 2nd Century BC
Fine grained white marble with root marks.
H 21 cm
Smaler than life-size male head tilted slightly to the left, probably from a statue with a wrinkled forehead and full, curly, long hair. The head is unfinished and has not been completed. Slight abrasions to nose, chin and hair.
