Osiris

New Kingdom, 19th Dynasty, circa 1292-1186 BC

The god Osiris, seated on a throne, is dressed in a tight-fitting garment that leaves only his hands free. In his hands he holds the royal insignia crook and frail. He wears the false beard and on his head the White Crown of Upper Egypt with frontal uraeus and ostrich feathers. Small part of modern infill to the upper crown and left feather.
