Hellenistic, 3rd – 2nd century BC

Solid silver.

H 4.5 cm

Small statuette of the winged god Eros with almost shoulder-length wavy hair, his left hand resting on his hip and his right arm raised. In his open right hand he originally held a separately worked attribute. Incised details for wings and hair of fine quality. Right lower leg missing.
